【Seoul, South】How Much for a Watch Set with 547 Diamonds?

A Swiss luxury watch set with 547 diamonds and priced at 490 million won (photo) is being introduced in South Korea.

Hyundai Department Store announced on the 5th that it will hold a luxury watch fair at its Trade Center store (7th-18th) and Apgujeong main store (8th-18th). The Trade Center store will feature 13 brands including ‘Audemars Piguet’, ‘Jaeger-LeCoultre’, ‘Piaget’, and ‘Blancpain’, while the Apgujeong main store will showcase products from 14 brands such as ‘Vacheron Constantin’, ‘Breguet’, ‘Roger Dubuis’, and ‘Panerai’. A total of about 400 items, including those exhibited at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Switzerland last January and at Baselworld in March, will be on display, with total sales value reaching 50 billion won.

The watch attracting the most attention is Jaeger-LeCoultre’s ‘Rendez-Vous Tourbillon High Jewelry’. This product, decorated with various diamonds totaling 9 carats on the watch’s interior and bezel, is priced at 490 million won, making it the most expensive watch at this fair.

To commemorate the 260th anniversary of ‘Vacheron Constantin’, one of the world’s luxury watch brands, the ‘Harmony Dual Time’ is also making its domestic debut. This watch is limited to a global production of only 625 pieces.
