Abigail Klem, the new managing director of the Ivanka Trump label, is reorganizing the product range and discontinuing the production of expensive luxury jewelry.
The company sells clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories under the First Daughter’s label.

Now the company has announced that it will forgo the production of the luxury jewelry line in the future, instead focusing on more affordable fashion jewelry.
No more diamonds under the Ivanka label. This comes after Donald Trump’s daughter caused a stir in a television interview following her father’s election as US President, as she used the appearance to aggressively promote a bracelet from her new collection costing around 11,000 euros. Subsequently, she faced heavy criticism for this.
When the department store Nordstrom finally removed Ivanka products from its program, President Trump expressed his displeasure with the decision on Twitter. Following this, Donald Trump’s advisor, Kellyanne Conway, promoted the purchase of Ivanka products in a TV interview. Subsequently, US media reported that sales had also increased significantly. The company itself reported that revenue was higher than ever.

Previously, media had reported that sales had plummeted by up to 70 percent in the weeks following the father’s election.
According to media reports, the company generated around $100 million in revenue under the Ivanka Trump label last year. Ivanka had stepped down from both the leadership positions of the lifestyle brand and the Trump Organization in mid-January.
The news agency AFP reported this week that more than 50 tons of clothing from China had been imported into the USA under the Ivanka Trump brand, which contradicts the economic program of her father, who had urged US citizens to buy primarily US-produced goods.
