Editor’s Note
Our correspondent is on the ground at VicenzaOro, Italy’s premier jewelry trade fair, running through January 24. Stay tuned for a full report next week on the latest from over 1,500 exhibitors.

Hello, jewelry lovers!
I am currently reporting from the VicenzaOro show, the flagship trade event for the newly formed Italian Exhibition Group. This show—located in lovely Vicenza, Italy—is running from January 19 to 24.
This time, the show features over 1,500 exhibitors set up across six distinct sections; these areas feature everything from emerging designers and Italian-made gold (naturally) to gemstone and technology vendors.

Next week I’ll post a full wrap-up of VicenzaOro, including my take on the show’s biggest trends and most interesting (and marketable) collections.
Until then, enjoy some fresh-from-the-floor photos of pieces that impressed me on day one.
