This article highlights a significant milestone in the domestic jewelry industry, as Golden Dew introduces its own proprietary diamond cut. The development, born from a collaboration with the historic diamond hub of Antwerp, marks a notable step for a Korean brand in the high-value craft of diamond cutting.

Golden Dew announced on the 19th that to mark its 30th founding anniversary, it will unveil the ‘Golden Dew Cut Diamond’ in Korea, created in collaboration with Antwerp, Belgium, a city with 500 years of diamond history.
Cutting, which refers to the method of cutting and processing diamonds, is one of the three factors that determine a diamond’s value, along with clarity and color. According to Golden Dew, this is the first time a domestic brand’s name has been included in the name of a cut recognized worldwide. The ‘Golden Dew Cut Diamond’, to be unveiled on the 28th at ‘S-FACTORY’ in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, will consist of three lines.
Antwerp is Belgium’s second-largest city and the center of the world’s diamond trade. 84% of the world’s rough diamonds and 50% of polished diamonds pass through this city. Four of the world’s 31 diamond exchanges are located in Antwerp, and it is also home to the world’s only exchange for unprocessed ‘rough diamonds’.
Golden Dew was appointed as an ambassador for Antwerp diamonds in 2017 at the request of AWDC, a Belgian government agency representing the diamond industry.
