Founded in 2017 by a founder who focused on moissanite, which was not yet widely known in Japan at the time, the brand started with online sales only. Characterized by high-quality moissanite and designs and settings using premium metals, Brillar operates on two main axes: the Brillar Collection, which releases highly designed items twice a year, and a custom-made collection created in collaboration with each individual customer.
Regarding moissanite, while it is often compared to natural diamonds with a focus on price and perceived as an imitation, it actually possesses material charms such as superior durability to diamonds and 2.5 times more brilliance.
