In Angola, a company has discovered the largest pink diamond found in 300 years. These are considered exceptional rarities – similar stones have fetched prices of over 50 million dollars in the past.
The magnificent stone weighs 170 carats (34 grams), reported the mining company Lucapa Diamond Company, which fittingly named the diamond the “Lulo Rose” after its discovery site.
The Australian company has already discovered 26 diamonds in the mine, each weighing more than 100 carats.
