This article highlights a significant milestone for Tane México, which marks its 80th anniversary by earning certification from the Responsible Jewellery Council. This dual achievement underscores the brand’s enduring legacy of craftsmanship and its modern commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.

Tane México celebrates its 80th anniversary by obtaining certification from the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), recognizing its commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
For decades, the Mexican firm has showcased the work of the finest master silversmiths, who, with each generation, keep the spirit and excellence of craftsmanship alive in every collection of jewelry, accessories, and silver art objects, pioneering the promotion of the best of Mexico.

On its 80th anniversary, Tane once again makes a difference and sets an example in the industry, becoming the first Latin American retail brand to be named an Officially Certified Member of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
This is a significant milestone for any brand, as the RJC is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring its members operate with ethical, social, and environmental responsibility, thus maintaining high standards when selecting those worthy of such recognition.

states Ralph Simons, CEO of TANE, who adds:
For the certification process, all RJC members are independently audited according to the organization’s Code of Practices; an internationally accepted and highly respected standard for responsible business practices for diamonds, colored gemstones, gold, silver, and other precious metals. Each member is thoroughly examined on issues such as human and labor rights, mining practices, environmental impact, and product disclosure, among other aspects.
