The event saw brisk bidding, highlighted by a pink diamond that achieved the highest hammer price ever recorded in a domestic auction.

Lot 172 “6.11ct FANCY INTENSE PINK VS-2 Diamond”
A globally rare 6.11-carat pink diamond (FANCY INTENSE PINK VS-2) was offered in the 720th “Jewelry & Watch” auction.

On the day, numerous buyers from both within Japan and abroad participated in the bidding via the venue, telephone, and online platforms, actively placing bids and creating a lively, competitive atmosphere.
Furthermore, bidding for brand jewelry from houses like CARTIER, VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, and BOUCHERON, as well as for brand bags from CHANEL, was also highly active. The total hammer price for this sale reached 754.89 million yen, setting a new record for the jewelry category at Mainichi Auction.
