Project Investment and Phases

On December 17, Huifeng Diamond announced that the company plans to invest in the construction of a CVD diamond project in Kundu District, Baotou City. The total investment for the project is expected to be 10 billion yuan and will be implemented in two phases. The first phase involves an investment of approximately 5 billion yuan, with plans to install 500 MPCVD (Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition) units. This phase will primarily focus on the research, development, and production of CVD lab-grown diamonds and CVD diamond films. Full production is expected to be achieved within 4 to 5 years, depending on market conditions and equipment iteration.

Agreement and Site Details

The company intends to sign an investment agreement with the People’s Government of Kundu District, Baotou City. The project site is designated as Building No. 1 in the Xindong Manufacturing Industrial Park, located 50 meters east of the Management Committee of the Metal Deep Processing Industrial Park in Kundu District, Baotou City.

Government Support Commitments

The local government (referred to as Party A in the agreement) has committed to coordinating and ensuring the provision of essential infrastructure for the project. This includes water supply and drainage, roads, communications, electricity, and natural gas. The government will ensure that the relevant infrastructure construction extends to the boundary line of the project site, meeting the production and operational needs of Huifeng Diamond (referred to as Party B).
