As the long-standing official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard annually unveils its most important Red Carpet collection of high jewelry during the festival. Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Creative Director of the brand, has fused imagination and craftsmanship to design 76 high jewelry pieces for this year’s collection. Inspired by the “seventh art” of cinema, these works reinterpret her creative vision and were showcased in the world’s fashion capital during Paris Fashion Week from September 25 to October 3, 2023.

Caroline Scheufele excels at capturing details. Whether from architecture, museums, galleries, conversations, nature, or starry night skies, all serve as inspiration for her creations and imagination. Combined with the century-old jewelry craftsmanship passed down through generations at the Chopard workshops, breathtaking jewelry is presented to the world. Among the new creations is a cocktail ring resembling a miniature artwork, where a central yellow sapphire is supported by a group of classically styled sculptures, carved from gold and set with brilliant-cut round diamonds. A necklace cleverly integrates lightweight feathers crafted from diamonds into a snail shell, offering a poetic ode to the wonders of nature.

A series of elegant butterfly pieces outlines gently fluttering wings with the most precious gemstones, while the soft curves extending from graceful swans adorn ears and necks. Electroplated colored titanium enhances the rich, focused hues of colored gemstones, creating a sense of volume while maintaining lightness and comfort.

The collection prominently features materials certified to ethical standards. For instance, a Dragon and Tiger necklace is crafted from titanium and Fairmined-certified 18K white gold and yellow gold, set with green jadeite totaling 15.33 carats, blue, orange, and yellow sapphires, and black diamonds. An opal necklace is made from Fairmined-certified 18K white gold, set with two oval opals weighing 22 carats and 7.9 carats, pear-cut blue-violet tanzanite totaling 311 carats, and diamonds. A Toi & Moi fancy color diamond ring features Fairmined-certified 18K white gold and titanium set with a pear-shaped pink diamond of approximately 1.10 carats, a pear-shaped green diamond of approximately 1.03 carats, and pink and green round-cut diamonds.
