Ravensburger has announced the second set for Disney Lorcana, titled *Rise of the Floodborn*, along with a limited *Disney100 Gift Set*. Both will be available this year through various retail channels.

Ravensburger has announced the second set for Disney Lorcana, titled Rise of the Floodborn. Additionally, there will be a Disney100 Gift Set as a limited premium version. Both will be available throughout the year in specialized toy retailers and other general retail channels.

“The response to the launch of the ‘Disney Lorcana’ TCG has been overwhelming. The game has only been on the market for about a month, and fans are already eagerly waiting for more,” says Filip Francke, Global Head of Games at Ravensburger. “Behind the scenes, we are working hard to meet the current demand. At the same time, we are also planning incredible updates and new sets for the coming years. We are excited to reveal a bit more about what’s coming for the game and its story by the end of the year.”
Set Details: Rise of the Floodborn

Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn delves into the ink-rich origins of the Floodborn glimmers—Disney characters transformed by a mysterious ink flood. Luminaries and glimmers embark on a journey away from the Great Illuminary, which has been damaged by a flood of magical ink. The six inks (Amethyst, Amber, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Steel) were released by the flood and mixed together. When Storyborn or Dreamborn glimmers encountered this mixed ink, they were transformed into Floodborn glimmers by a powerful force. The magical ink flowed out of the Illuminary, sweeping away valuable legends, including Disney’s King Triton’s powerful trident.

New Ability: Resist

In Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn, a new ability called Resist will be introduced. The Resist ability indicates how much additional damage characters can withstand. For example, Resist +2 on a character would mean that any damage dealt to them is reduced by 2.

New Cards and Characters

Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn contains over 200 new cards with brand-new artwork. Favorite characters like Disney’s Winnie the Pooh and Tiana appear for the first time in the Disney Lorcana TCG, along with other new Disney stories including Disney’s “The Jungle Book,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “The Great Mouse Detective,” “Pinocchio,” “Zootopia,” and “Raya and the Last Dragon.”

All cards in this set can be played together with cards from the The First Chapter set and used to update existing Disney Lorcana TCG decks.

Release Dates

Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn will be released on November 17 in specialized toy retailers and on December 1 in other general retail channels.
