This article highlights Zhang Zetian’s recent appearance at a Piaget event in Cannes, positioning her as a key ambassador for JD.com’s expanding luxury and fashion platform. Her strategic presence at high-profile international gatherings underscores the e-commerce giant’s ambitions in the premium market segment.

Recently, Zhang Zetian appeared in Cannes in a black evening gown. This trip was an invitation to attend a dinner hosted by the Swiss high-end watch and jewelry brand Piaget in Cannes. This also marks Zhang Zetian’s latest move for JD.com’s fashion and luxury business platform.
As early as 2017, Piaget became the first luxury jewelry and watch brand to settle on JD.com. Now, JD.com has become the most trusted e-commerce partner for super brands in China, including LV and Dior.

This is not Zhang Zetian’s first time promoting JD.com’s business expansion. With a keen sense of fashion and dubbed “China’s Natalie Massenet” by Hong Kong Tatler, she has been deeply involved in JD.com’s fashion and luxury business since 2017. Starting as a brand expansion consultant, she has attended important fashion events and meetings, leading JD.com onto major fashion weeks, hosting fashion dinners in New York, and collaborating with brands to launch co-branded clothing series, undertaking the important task of assisting JD.com’s brand expansion.
With Zhang Zetian’s strong support, JD.com’s fashion and luxury business has grown rapidly in the past few years. Many brands have chosen to partner with JD.com to deeply deploy in the Chinese market. Currently, over 400 luxury brands have officially settled on the platform.

In 2022, JD Luxury welcomed brands under the LVMH group, CELINE and FENDI, becoming the first enterprise to achieve comprehensive cooperation with nine top fashion brands under the LVMH group. Kering Group also initiated its first cooperation with JD.com. Just before this year’s JD.com 618 shopping festival, the Italian luxury fashion brand Bottega Veneta became the first luxury fashion brand to officially cooperate with Kering Group and JD.com.
