Editor’s Note
The seventh edition of GemGenève, running November 2–5, continues its dynamic focus on specialist dealers, welcoming 148 professional dealers from 18 countries to Palexpo. This note introduces the event’s latest framework and highlights.

A new framework for each new edition: one of the great strengths of GemGenève. The focus is on specialist dealers. From November 2nd to 5th (Thursday to Sunday), the 7th edition of GemGenève will take place in Hall 6 of the Palexpo exhibition grounds. 148 professional dealers from 18 countries will participate, with a total of just over 175 exhibitors on site. The organizers view the upcoming edition as very dynamic, with the same number of exhibitors as in November 2022 (176, of which 144 were dealers) – yet more intimate than the May 2023 edition (230 exhibitors, of which 192 were dealers). Here are the highlights and facts about the upcoming fair.
Event founder Ronny Totah is pleased:
In adapting to the new constraints of the Palexpo halls and in an effort to improve the positioning of the booths from edition to edition, the booths are grouped around small coffee stations, lounges, and main axes.

In the six past editions, GemGenève has gathered the crème de la crème of international dealers covering the broad spectrum of the jewelry universe, and so it will be in November. In terms of participant numbers, specialist dealers from the USA are again in first place with nearly a quarter (22%) of participants. Switzerland, Hong Kong, Israel, Belgium, Thailand, Germany, France, India, and Italy follow in the other places. Houses from Sri Lanka, Japan, Brazil, and Austria are also participating again.
New additions include jewelry houses such as Arihant Star (HK) Limited (Hong Kong), Maison Kwan Limited (Hong Kong), Plum Colors Ltd. (Thailand), Vama Creation Co Ltd. (Thailand), Evergem (Israel), Esmeralda Gems Inc. (USA), Brazil Paraiba Mine (Brazil), Avani Gem (France), to name just a few examples.
