Event Overview

The ‘2023 Seoul International Jewelry & Accessory Show (THE MOST Valuables 2023)’ was held at Hall B of COEX in Samseong-dong from October 5th to 7th for three days.

“How can Korean jewelry shine even brighter?” THE MOST Valuables started from this single sentence.

With the goal of making our jewelry industry shine ‘most valuable’ like a precious and valuable gem to everyone, THE MOST Valuables was established as a comprehensive business platform under the slogan ‘You are the most valuable’ to provide new opportunities and vision for related industries, enabling the domestic jewelry industry to shine ‘most valuable’.

Scale and Participants

Co-hosted by the Seoul Jewelry Support Center and (주)Expo Forum, this event is Korea’s only professional jewelry industry exhibition revived after 6 years since 2022. About 100 companies participated, attracting approximately 10,000 visitors over the three days. This year’s event featured about 180 companies and 400 booths.

Exhibition Items

The exhibition items are diverse by category. Visitors could directly view and purchase gemstone raw materials and finished products such as diamonds, rubies, and pearls; fine jewelry including high-end jewelry, fine art, and wedding jewelry; precious metal raw materials and finished products like gold, silver, and platinum; as well as equipment and materials including packaging, cases, and safes.

Support Programs and Side Events

This year, numerous programs were prepared to support new companies entering the industry, such as startups, one-person businesses, and prospective entrepreneurs. Side events previously held, including business consultations, fashion shows, and professional seminars, continued to be held. Business programs were also arranged to support the practical overseas expansion of domestic jewelry companies. Opportunities for business creation were provided through export consultation meetings with global buyers from the US, UK, France, China, Japan, etc., and MD consultation meetings for opening domestic sales channels.

Experience Events for Visitors

Various experience events for visitors were available, including a gem color therapy experience that provides information on gemstones suitable for the visitor’s color, a hands-on cloisonné craft experience, and commemorative photos that can be taken and taken home at accessory booths.

Special Exhibitions

At the <30th Korea Precious Metal & Jewelry Design Association Touring Exhibition>, visitors could appreciate various works by members in an association exhibition utilizing gems of various colors along with this year’s color, Viva Magenta.
The is a work exhibition where visitors can encounter special jewelry from four companies, including beautiful accessories utilizing jewelry in traditional Korean knot shapes, along with various other works.

“We aim to highlight the value not only of the jewelry industry but also of the industry practitioners who create shining jewelry and the consumers who purchase it,” said an official from the exhibition side.
