Thailand Invites Cambodian Enterprises to Participate in the 2024 Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair

The Thai Ministry of Commerce has invited Cambodian companies to participate in the “2024 Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair.”
The Royal Thai Embassy in Cambodia issued a notice on the 27th, stating that the 2024 Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair will be held from September 9 to 13 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair is one of the most famous and longest-running jewelry industry trade shows in Southeast Asia. It is considered a crucial trade platform where all key players in the global gem and jewelry business can fulfill their sourcing needs. It has gradually developed into another world-renowned jewelry event in Asia, following the “Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.”
Thailand is known as the “Jewelry Kingdom.” Over 80% of the world’s rubies and sapphires are produced and processed in Thailand and exported worldwide. Thailand is also a major silver jewelry producer, with its output second only to Italy, and its consumption ranks among the highest globally. Currently, the consumption momentum for diamond jewelry is also growing rapidly in Thailand. Precious metal jewelry is another significant segment, occupying a large exhibition area at the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair. The largest proportion of exhibited products consists of loose gemstones and silver jewelry, creating a vibrant, colorful world and a dazzling silver paradise.
