The auction began with pieces selected from the collection of Mica Argañaraz, which sold for $2.6 million, nearly double its pre-sale estimate. All 16 lots sold, with over 80% achieving prices more than double their low estimate.
The auction also featured pieces from the “Art as Jewel: Exceptional Jewels from a Private Collection,” which sold for a total of $9.2 million.

Another sensation was a pair of Harry Winston spinel and diamond earrings, which sold for $2.228 million, double their high estimate.
The auction concluded with the “Treasures of Love: Exceptional Jewels from a Private Collection,” which realized $6.7 million.
The top price was achieved by a Van Cleef & Arpels “Mystery Set” necklace, which sold for $1.356 million.
Christie’s Jewels continues to offer the opportunity to bid online on special jewels until December 12.
