This article highlights how ONE3D’s investment in the high-capacity NXG 600E 3D printer is scaling its production capabilities for large, precision metal components.

The Czech company ONE3D s.r.o., specializing in hybrid manufacturing and advanced post-processing of metal and plastic parts, has expanded its production capacity by acquiring the NXG 600E from Nikon SLM Solutions. This metal 3D printing system enables the production of components with dimensions up to 600 x 600 mm and a height of 1,500 mm. Equipped with twelve 1-kilowatt lasers, the NXG 600E enhances efficiency and precision in the production of large metal parts.

The investment supports ONE3D in meeting the demanding requirements of the aerospace and defense industries. Specifically, within the framework of the Czech Army’s F-35 fighter jet program, in which ONE3D is involved as an industrial partner of Lockheed Martin, this expansion plays a crucial role.
David Kadlčík, Co-founder and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of ONE3D, emphasized:

Sam O’Leary, CEO of Nikon SLM Solutions, commented:

The integration of the NXG 600E into ONE3D’s production line marks an important step in the advancement of additive manufacturing for large metal parts and underscores the significance of advanced technologies in modern industrial production.
