Nitin Gadkari Expresses Shock
“I am stunned to hear the news of the demise of the great son of the nation, Shri Ratan Tata. I have had an extremely close family relationship with him for over three decades. I have seen and experienced up close the simplicity of such a great person, his ease, his respect even for those younger than him. I learned a lot from him in my life. As the country’s biggest businessman, he made a huge contribution to strengthening the economy and creating employment. He was a true patriot and a man of principles. He was an even greater sensitive social worker than he was a businessman. With his demise, India has lost an ideal and capable son. This country can never forget Shri Ratan Tata. May God grant peace to the departed soul. Om Shanti.”
