This article previews THE MOST Valuables 2024, South Korea’s sole professional exhibition for the jewelry and accessory industry, set for September at COEX.
The 2024 Seoul International Jewelry & Accessory Show (THE MOST Valuables 2024, hereinafter referred to as THE MOST), a jewelry and accessory industry exhibition, will open on Friday, September 20th and run for three days until Sunday, September 22nd at COEX.
THE MOST is Korea’s only professional exhibition for the jewelry and accessory industry. It is expected to serve as a platform where various industry experts gather to share the latest trends, showcase innovative products, and foster the jewelry and accessory industry. This exhibition is anticipated to contribute to the development of the jewelry industry by offering visitors and industry professionals opportunities to expand business connections and grasp the latest industry trends through diverse programs and events.
This year’s THE MOST, opening on the 20th and running until the 22nd at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, is expected to be a grander event with participation from 150 domestic and 10 overseas companies from 5 countries, totaling 300 booths. The participation of Seoul Metropolitan Government as a sponsor is expected to further enhance the event. Notably, the exhibition will feature business development programs aimed at fostering mutual growth and cooperation for ‘urban manufacturing’ in areas like Jongno, Namdaemun, and Dongdaemun, and will discuss various ways to contribute to creating social value. This year’s THE MOST will feature a wide range of exhibits including gemstone raw materials and finished products (diamonds, rubies, pearls, etc.), precious metal raw materials and finished products (gold, silver, platinum, etc.), fashion jewelry, fine jewelry, and equipment/machinery (packaging, casting & processing, 3D printers, etc.). On-site, visitors can directly experience various jewelry and equipment, and enjoy benefits like discounts on purchases.
The exhibition will also host professional seminars for the jewelry industry, covering topics like the pearl market and consumer trend analysis, and changes and challenges in the natural diamond market. Additionally, Korea’s only jewelry fashion show will be held, with various influencers, icons of Korean fashion and jewelry, visiting to grace the event.
The Seoul Jewelry Support Center will operate a live commerce shopping and live jewelry sales event in the Seoul Pavilion, while the Korea Precious Metal & Jewelry Design Association will host an international exchange exhibition involving Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. Other programs include color therapy, craft experiences, and ring-making workshops.
