Anne Nakamura, Ayami Nakajo, Yosuke Sugino, and Sara Minami made appearances! A high jewelry event commemorating Cartier’s 50th anniversary in Japan was held.

Cartier celebrated 50 years since opening its first boutique in Japan. To mark this occasion, a high jewelry event was held at the Meiji Kinenkan in Tokyo, graced by actors Anne Nakamura, Ayami Nakajo, Yosuke Sugino, and Sara Minami, who added brilliance to the event.

The event, themed “Essence – The Elements Weaving Cartier Style,” focused on five essential elements that express the Maison’s style: movement, light, color, form, and curiosity. Approximately 300 meticulously selected high jewelry pieces and timepieces were gathered, ranging from new high jewelry collections to restored historical pieces from ‘Cartier Tradition,’ which were repurchased and refurbished. Each area, divided by element, showcased numerous high jewelry pieces and timepieces representing the Maison, making it a truly magnificent and dazzling event.

Anne Nakamura in Cartier’s ‘Grattacielo’ High Jewelry

Anne Nakamura appeared in a sophisticated look, layering a black long jacket over a dress and pants. Adorning her décolletage and ears was Cartier’s prestigious high jewelry collection, ‘Grattacielo.’ Meaning “skyscraper” in Italian, this high jewelry collection lives up to its name with a striking design featuring a graphic arrangement of diamonds and emeralds.

The necklace can be separated into an inner section composed of diamonds and an outer section that radiates a dazzling light through a combination of emeralds and diamonds. Furthermore, the center diamonds and emeralds can be interchanged and rearranged, truly embodying Cartier’s “savoir-faire.” It further enhances the beauty of Ms. Nakamura who wears it.

Ayami Nakajo Enveloped in the Divine Radiance of Cartier’s Diamond Collection

Ayami Nakajo appeared in a vibrant red dress, adorned with Cartier’s radiant diamond collection that shines with a divine brilliance. A full coordination of necklace, bracelet, ring, and earrings in diamonds and white gold adds further luster to Ms. Nakajo’s elegant and translucent skin.

The diamond necklace, captivating with its design reminiscent of multiple blooming flowers, is a treasure composed of 18 pear-shaped diamonds alongside baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds. Additionally, the diamond earrings that make a statement at her ears feature pear-shaped diamonds arranged in a comet-like design, adding drama to her ensemble with every movement.

Yosuke Sugino’s ‘Santos de Cartier’ Skeleton Watch

Yosuke Sugino made a dashing appearance at the venue in a black tuxedo. Making a statement on his wrist is the timepiece ‘Santos de Cartier’ Skeleton Watch, featuring an attractive skeleton movement, adding further brilliance to Mr. Sugino’s dress style.

This timepiece, which retains the proportions of the ‘Santos de Cartier’—born as the world’s first practical wristwatch to fulfill the wish of Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont—while incorporating a skeleton movement, has been known for its immense popularity since its debut.

The model Mr. Sugino wore this time is a high jewelry watch adorned with 126 baguette diamonds on the case. Suitable not only for party styles but also for business occasions and off-duty looks to assert subtle elegance, it is a timepiece perfectly suited for discerning adults.

Furthermore, peeking from his chest and shirt cuffs with a dynamic expression are the ‘Panthère de Cartier’ tie pin and cufflinks, featuring the panther motif symbolic of Cartier. At Cartier, diamond jewelry collections are also available as precious accessories for men.

‘Grain de Café’ High Jewelry Adds Sparkle to Sara Minami

The jewelry that adds further sparkle to Ms. Minami’s radiant freshness is the ‘Grain de Café’ collection, featuring the “coffee bean” motif born in 1938. It became widely known after Grace Kelly, who had just become Princess of Monaco, wore it in the 1950s.

The design, with plump, rounded forms mimicking coffee beans in yellow gold, randomly set with red rubellite reminiscent of cocoa pods and diamonds, shows us Cartier’s unique heritage that will never fade with time.

This high jewelry event was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Cartier opening its first boutique in Japan. It was a precious opportunity to experience the fusion of Cartier’s rare craftsmanship, which continues to transmit creativity loved across generations, and its timeless signatures.
