The 72nd Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair, one of the world’s premier trade events for the industry, is now open. This article details the opening ceremony and the scale of the exhibition, featuring over 1,100 companies.

Vuttikrai Leewiraphan, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, presided over the opening ceremony of the 72nd Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. The 72nd Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair opens at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, featuring 1,106 companies from Thailand and abroad in one of the world’s top jewelry trade events.
The fair is organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), in collaboration with the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (Public Organization), with support from a steering committee of 17 organizations. This edition brings together 1,106 companies from Thailand and abroad across 2,628 booths, occupying the entire G and LG floors (Halls 1–8). The fair is expected to welcome over 40,000 visitors and generate more than 3.5 billion baht in trade value.
