Barmer. Central Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated on Saturday during a press conference at the district headquarters that the Pachpadra Refinery will enter the production phase in April. He said that the project was stalled due to delayed decisions during the tenure of the previous government, but work is now progressing at a rapid pace, and it can be confidently stated that the refinery will reach the production stage by April.
When asked about the anti-incumbency wave, he said that this time, the tradition of the government changing every five years in Rajasthan will be broken, and anti-incumbency will be turned into pro-incumbency, leading to the government being re-elected. He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, anti-incumbency turns into pro-incumbency. The same has happened in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Bihar. Despite discussions of opposition, the public has given strong support, leading to the re-election of governments. The myth of government change every five years in Rajasthan will also be broken.
Responding to questions about the lack of foundation stone laying and inaugurations in the past two years, Shekhawat said that extensive work has been done on roads, infrastructure, new colleges, and schools in Barmer. A detailed list of all these development works will be made available through the District President.
On questions related to the CT scan machine and the medical college, he said that a medical college has been built in Barmer, and hospital construction work is ongoing there, which will have complete facilities. He explained that services like radiology require safety standards, equipment, and human resources.
