Editor’s Note
As early trends from the Bihar Assembly elections emerge, the Congress party has attributed its initial lag to the Election Commission and the Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, framing the contest as a direct clash between the Chief Election Commissioner and the electorate. This statement reflects the heightened tensions and allegations that often surface during closely watched electoral counts.

After falling behind in the initial trends of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Congress party has blamed the Election Commission and SIR for this. They stated that this is a direct battle between the Chief Election Commissioner and the people of Bihar.
Congress leader Pawan Khera, targeting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar during the vote counting for the Bihar Assembly elections on Friday, said that this election has become a direct battle between him and the people of Bihar.

Khera added that there is a book called ‘Serving with Love’. Gyanesh Kumar is now writing the same book for Prime Minister Modi.
Apart from Pawan Khera, another Congress leader, Udit Raj, held the Election Commission and SIR responsible for the Congress and Grand Alliance’s defeat in the Bihar elections.
The Congress leader’s reaction came at a time when the Congress party and its alliance are lagging badly in the vote counting for the Bihar elections. On the other hand, the BJP and its alliance appear to be moving towards power once again.
