Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan has extended birthday greetings to ‘Bharat Ratna’ Lal Krishna Advani. The Vice President said that Lal Krishna Advani’s tireless efforts have inspired generations to uphold the values of honesty, patriotism, and selfless duty.
“Heartiest congratulations to Bharat Ratna Lal Krishna Advani on his birthday. A distinguished statesman and guide in India’s democratic journey, Advani ji has dedicated his life to the nation’s progress, unity, and cultural harmony. Throughout his illustrious career, he has exemplified enduring ideals, visionary leadership, and a deep commitment to public service,” wrote C.P. Radhakrishnan on social media platform ‘X’ on Saturday.
The Vice President further wrote, “Advani’s tireless efforts have inspired generations to uphold the values of honesty, patriotism, and selfless duty. His contributions have profoundly shaped India’s political, social, and cultural landscape.”
Former Vice President Meets Advani
India’s former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu met Lal Krishna Advani on his birthday. Venkaiah Naidu wrote in an ‘X’ post,
“On the birthday of the stalwart of Indian politics and my father-like figure Lal Krishna Advani, I visited his residence and conveyed my best wishes to him. Advani’s patriotism, discipline, dedication, and determination are an example for the youth.”
Prime Minister and Home Minister’s Tributes
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt wishes to Lal Krishna Advani on his birthday. He said,
“A politician endowed with great foresight and wisdom, Advani ji’s life has been dedicated to strengthening India’s progress. He has always embraced a spirit of selfless duty and firm principles. His contributions have left an indelible mark on India’s democratic and cultural landscape. May God grant him excellent health and longevity.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, describing him as an inspiration for millions of workers, said,
“Advani ji has shown how an entire life can be dedicated selflessly to the nation. From the organization to the government, every responsibility of his had one goal – Nation First. As the BJP’s National President, he took the organization from village platforms to metropolises, and as Home Minister, he strengthened the country’s security. He also played a leading role in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement and created public awareness across the country through his Rath Yatra. I pray to God for his long life and healthy life.”
