This week, Moza bint Nasser appeared at an official event wearing a new watch from Cartier, valued at 42,000 euros. We tell you all the details.
Although her jewelry box contains pieces from all major international brands, the Sheikha of Qatar has a particular weakness for Cartier.
The French jewelry house, founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier when he took over his master Adolphe Picard’s business, is the one most trusted by the wife of the Father Emir. She demonstrated this during an official event this week.

To present the Qatar Foundation Excellence Award alongside her daughter Hind, the Sheikha of Qatar chose a black tunic with circular cutouts, paired with a white dress underneath. She also wore Manolo Blahnik BB 70 pumps and the aforementioned watch, which at first glance resembles a cuff bracelet.
The watch in question is the Reflection model, a name that alludes to its geometric design and the play of light and reflections it produces. The case is camouflaged, set into the side of a rose gold bracelet. It features sword-shaped steel hands with rose gold finish and a sapphire crystal.
Although the brand has launched other watches with similar names or concepts in previous years, the Cartier Reflection as such is a 2020 model. It is available on the brand’s website for 42,400 euros, also in yellow gold. There are two other versions, with precious and semi-precious stones like emeralds, amethysts, or tourmalines, whose price rises to 182,000 euros.
For now, the Sheikha has only worn the rose gold model, although we would not rule out seeing her in the precious stone version in the future, as she is a lover of luxury and Cartier. In fact, a few weeks ago she was seen with a large pendant from the brand valued at 256,000 euros.

This is an extremely exclusive piece made by Cartier in 2006, of which only ten units were created. And we already know the Sheikha of Qatar is one of the few fortunate individuals who owns one.
The pendant is made with diamonds of various shades in white, brown, champagne, and yellow, creating the image of the panther, Cartier’s symbol since its beginnings. Each diamond has been meticulously selected and precisely set, ensuring a fluidity of color and brilliance in the panther’s form.
Likewise, we must not forget one of the most expensive jewels owned by the Sheikha: a stunning Cartier necklace, the Le Tavernier model, dedicated to Jean Baptiste Tavernier, the French explorer who pioneered business in India during the 17th century. The two ultra-pure giant diamonds belong to the Indian mines of the city of Golconda.
It features 56.07 carats of diamonds and multicolored pearls. When it went on sale in 2001, its price was 4 million euros. Currently, its price is estimated to be around 10 million euros.

With each appearance, the Sheikha of Qatar reaffirms herself as a true collector of high jewelry, especially Cartier. Her choices, far from being random, are a statement of intent: sophistication, power, and exclusivity in their purest form.
