In 2024, TOUS’s jewelry production center in Sabadell celebrated its tenth anniversary, already consolidated as the nerve center of the brand’s production and, in turn, as a benchmark in the jewelry industry. This circumstance highlights the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation and, furthermore, reflects a constant evolution towards sustainability, efficiency, and the integration of cutting-edge technology without losing the artisanal essence that defines the firm.
Inaugurated in 2014 with an investment of three million euros with the purpose of increasing its production capacity (over a million pieces per year), in line with its growth and international expansion process, Spain’s largest jewelry factory has since played a fundamental role in TOUS’s growth strategy.
Its creation responded to the need to bring production closer to the headquarters in Manresa to optimize processes and ensure greater control over the quality of each piece. Throughout this decade, production capacity has evolved in parallel with the global expansion of the brand, consolidating TOUS as a benchmark in the fusion of technology and craftsmanship.

The Sabadell production center is a paradigmatic example of how technology can be integrated into an eminently artisanal process. The factory houses state-of-the-art equipment, such as electroforming, a pioneering technique in jewelry that TOUS adopted over twenty years ago. This revolutionary technology allows for the creation of voluminous pieces, with reduced weight and great resistance, reducing the use of soldering without compromising quality or design.

Electroforming is an electrochemical method by which metal is deposited onto a conductive mold submerged in a solution with metal ions. Through a controlled electric current, metal particles adhere layer by layer, forming the structure of the jewel. Once the desired thickness is achieved, the internal mold is removed, leaving a hollow but resistant piece.
Thanks to this technology, TOUS can design jewelry with organic and large shapes, light and comfortable to wear. Furthermore, this process optimizes the use of precious materials like gold and silver, guaranteeing efficient and sustainable production.
