Editor’s Note
This guide outlines the two key prerequisites for accessing Ramanas Park in *Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl*: defeating the Pokémon League and obtaining the National Pokédex.

To visit Ramanas Park in your Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl save file, you must first meet two requirements:
- You must have defeated the Pokémon League (after winning all 8 badges).
- You must obtain the National Pokédex from Professor Rowan after having seen all Pokémon in the Regional Pokédex.
Once you have fulfilled these two conditions, you can access Ramanas Park. As you can see, this is a location that can only be visited in the end-game. The park is located in the southwest of Sinnoh, specifically at the far end of Route 221 (right where the Pal Park was located in the original games).
Ramanas Park operates using slates that can be placed into the corresponding pedestals in various rooms to summon Legendary Pokémon. These slates are unlocked in a specific order, so you cannot always obtain the available legendaries in the order you want.
There are some slates and legendary rooms that are exclusive depending on which edition you are playing. The slates can be purchased at the counter in Ramanas Park in exchange for Small or Large Mysterious Shards (which are obtained from underground digging).
There are a total of 11 slates, which are as follows:
| Slate Type | Room | Available Pokémon | Purchase Requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discovery Slate | Discovery Room | Regirock, Regice, Registeel | Available from the start |
| Kanto Slate | Kanto Room | Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres | This slate is exclusive to Shining Pearl. Capture the Legendaries from the Discovery Room. |
| Johto Slate | Johto Room | Raikou, Entei, Suicune | This slate is exclusive to Brilliant Diamond. Capture the Legendaries from the Discovery Room. |
| Genome Slate | Genome Room | Mewtwo | Capture the Legendaries from the Discovery Room, Kanto Room, Johto Room, and Soul Room. |
Keep in mind that once you place a slate in its corresponding pedestal, if you enter battle with the Legendary Pokémon and defeat it without capturing it, you will have to buy its slate again to encounter the Pokémon once more (therefore, it is recommended to manually save your game and disable auto-save in the options menu so you can load the file and repeat battles without having to buy slates again).
