This article highlights the traditional celebration of Karva Chauth, focusing on the rituals and adornments observed by married women. It briefly mentions public figure Surabhi Tiwari’s participation.
Karva Chauth was celebrated with great fervor across the country. Married women observed fasts and performed prayers for the long life of their husbands. They also meticulously prepared themselves with the traditional ‘Solah Shringar’ (sixteen adornments). While some adorned themselves in sarees, others wore lehengas or suits, but everyone’s traditional look was exceptionally beautiful. Among them was Manoj Tiwari’s wife, Surabhi Tiwari.
She also observed the fast and got ready in full traditional attire. As soon as she shared the video, her pink beauty look won hearts. With henna on her hands and in a saree, the mother of two daughters presented a beautiful sight, which she styled elegantly. (Photo courtesy: Instagram @surabhitiwariofficial_)
Surabhi, who is active on Instagram, often shares her stylish looks, and on Karva Chauth, she shared a beautiful video. She was seen in a pink saree, while her husband Manoj complemented her look in a yellow kurta. The kurta featured golden embroidery, and he paired it with white pajamas, creating an excellent traditional look.
Talking about Surabhi’s look, she wore a pink Banarasi saree. The border was golden, and the entire saree featured a design with thin and broad lines. She draped it with an open pallu, where the end of the pallu had wide golden work. This gave Surabhi’s saree look a royal vibe.
Like every married woman, Surabhi left no stone unturned in her look, keeping everything perfect from jewelry to hair and makeup. Whether it was her gold necklace, earrings, or the style of wearing her pearl chain in her hair, everything looked splendid. However, attention was drawn to her large diamond pendant mangalsutra, whose shine was distinctly visible.
With henna on her hands bearing her husband’s name, she wore plenty of matching bangles and completed her set of bangles with bracelets. Applying sindoor in her hair parting, she styled her hair in a half-updo with a middle partition. The bindi on her forehead also added charm to her look. Her pose with henna and bangles, reminiscent of the olden days, simply won hearts. Thus, Surabhi’s traditional look was perfect from head to toe.
