The Natural Diamond Council (NDC) has released its latest 2024 “Natural Diamond Trends Overview,” providing an in-depth analysis of changes in consumer preferences and market trends.

The report highlights a growing consumer preference for larger center stones, a shift in diamond clarity preference from SI to VS grades, and a continued increase in demand for fancy-shaped diamonds like ovals and marquise cuts, despite round diamonds maintaining their dominance. Additionally, overall jewelry sales have shown strong growth, with price increases reflecting the enduring value of natural diamonds in 2024.
