Huifeng Diamond (920725) announced on the evening of December 17 that the company plans to invest in the construction of a CVD diamond project in Kundulun District, Baotou City, with an estimated total investment of 10 billion yuan.
The project is planned to be implemented in two phases. The first phase involves an investment of approximately 5 billion yuan and plans to install 500 MP-CVD devices. It will primarily focus on the research & development and production of CVD lab-grown diamonds and CVD diamond films, with completion and operation expected within 4-5 years based on market conditions and equipment iteration. To ensure the smooth progress of this project, the company intends to sign an investment agreement with the People’s Government of Kundulun District, Baotou City.
Huifeng Diamond is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of synthetic diamond monocrystalline micropowder, micropowder extended application products, and CVD diamond materials. Its main products include diamond micropowder, diamond crushed and shaped materials, and CVD lab-grown diamonds.
The announcement stated that this project primarily focuses on the R&D and production of CVD lab-grown diamonds and CVD diamond films. CVD lab-grown diamonds are the company’s main product, while CVD diamond film represents a new revenue growth point in the company’s strategic layout. The company possesses rich technical reserves in the R&D and production of CVD diamond materials. Combined with the local electricity advantages and supportive policies in Baotou City, this provides a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the project.
