This article provides an overview of the 2025 Beijing International Jewelry Exhibition, highlighting its scale, organizers, and focus on the complete industry chain.

Exhibition Overview

On March 19, 2025, the 2025 Beijing International Jewelry Exhibition opened at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Co-organized by the China Gems & Jewelry Trade Association and the National Gemstone Testing Center Group, the exhibition boasts strong professionalism and credibility, attracting significant attention.
The exhibition spans a total area of 22,000 square meters with over 1,000 booths. It showcases the entire jewelry industry chain, featuring cutting-edge technologies, innovative designs, and craftsmanship achievements. A dazzling array of products is on display, including diamonds, colored gemstones, jade, finished design pieces, and high-end custom jewelry. By establishing an efficient business platform, the exhibition actively promotes the integration of industry resources and cross-border collaboration, helping enterprises accurately grasp the trend of consumption upgrading. This makes the exhibition not just a feast of jewelry, but also a bellwether for industry development.

Colored Gemstone Zone

The Colored Gemstone Zone is a major highlight of the exhibition, gathering numerous strong domestic and international colored gemstone trading companies. Institutions such as the Guangbao Center delegation, Shuibei delegation, and AGL delegation have also actively organized colored gemstone exhibitors to participate, offering visitors a vibrant visual feast.
Numerous collectible and precious colored gemstones made stunning appearances, including legendary stones like Burmese Pigeon’s Blood rubies, Kashmir Cornflower Blue sapphires, Colombian Muzo Green emeralds, and Australian opals. Paraiba tourmalines, other tourmalines, and spinels also made their presence felt, reinterpreting color aesthetics with their unique charm.
The exhibited colored gemstone products cover works of different positioning, from high-end customization and daily accessible luxury to niche designs, catering to diverse consumer preferences.

Crystal Zone

The Crystal-themed Zone was equally spectacular, bringing together numerous crystal exhibitors from the professional markets of Donghai, Jiangsu, and Ketang, Guangdong. It comprehensively presented the full range of crystal industry products, including natural crystal bead strings, raw crystal stones, rare mineral specimens, crystal artworks that cleverly combine traditional carving techniques with modern design, and crystal jewelry incorporating fashionable elements.

Jadeite and Jade Zone

For jadeite and jade, delegations from major Chinese jade markets, such as the “Pingzhou Delegation” and “Jieyang Delegation,” made appearances. Merchants from jewelry industry bases like Sihui, Guangdong; Nanyang, Henan; and Ruili and Tengchong, Yunnan, also joined, assembling a formidable “jadeite and jade lineup.” Whether for jadeite collectors or general consumers, the zone offered a highly cost-effective jade shopping experience for gaining knowledge, appreciating beauty, and hunting for treasures.

Pearl Zone

Led by the Zhejiang Pearl Industry Association, Shenzhen Pearl Industry Association, Beihai Pearl Market, and Beijing Hongqiao Market, the Pearl Zone gathered nearly a hundred leading enterprises in the pearl industry. The zone showcased major pearl varieties including South Sea Golden Pearls, Australian White Pearls, Tahitian Black Pearls, Akoya Pearls, and Freshwater Pearls, alongside currently popular finished pearl jewelry and innovative design products.

GAC Independent Jewelry Designers Joint Exhibition

Organized by the Jewelry Design Committee of the China Gems & Jewelry Trade Association, the GAC Independent Jewelry Designers Joint Exhibition returned as scheduled, adding a strong artistic atmosphere to the event. Designers integrated their understanding and perception of Chinese culture into their creations, interpreting the new force of “Chinese Design.”

International Zone

The exhibition once again upgraded its International Zone, attracting outstanding jewelry merchants from countries including Sri Lanka, South Korea, Thailand, Italy, and India. It gathered distinctive jewelry exhibits from around the world, featuring rare colored gemstones from Sri Lanka and Thailand, avant-garde designs from South Korea, master craftsmanship from Italy, and luxurious settings from India. By establishing an international business matching system, the exhibition provides precise connections for enterprises to expand into the global market, highlighting its core value as an engine for the globalization of the jewelry industry.

African Jade Delegation

The African Jade delegation garnered significant attention at the exhibition. African Jade is a highly popular emerging jade variety in the consumer market in recent years. It is a natural quartz jade primarily sourced from related mining areas in Africa, characterized by its lively, icy, floating yang-green patterns. Its texture is lustrous and translucent, appearing bright and captivating under light. This delegation was meticulously organized by Shanghai Feicui Import & Export Trade Co., Ltd., offering a full industry chain service system from mining and finished product processing to raw stone and finished product sales, cultural and creative development, and cultural dissemination.

Live Streaming Zone

Leading platforms such as Taobao Live, Douyin E-commerce, and Tencent Video Channels, alongside hundreds of star hosts like “Dragon Boss’s Jewelry Store” and “Xiaobei Jewelry,” created an all-day live streaming matrix. Exhibitors specially launched a “Dual-Channel Equal Rights” discount system, with some offering exclusive first releases of exhibition-limited edition jewelry in their live streams. Visitors could enjoy the dual pleasure of “on-site browsing + cloud shopping” through live interaction.

Building a Secure Platform

To create a safe and transparent consumption environment for consumers, this year’s exhibition invited the authoritative testing institution—the National Gemstone Testing Center Group—to be stationed on-site. With professional technology and a rigorous attitude, they provided free jewelry testing and professional consulting services for exhibitors and consumers.
To enhance service levels and improve visitor efficiency, the exhibition implemented an online pre-registration system. Visitors only needed to register in advance and could enter quickly on-site with their ID cards, saving time spent waiting in line. The exhibition will continue until March 23.
