Heritage Auctions, a leading global auction house, will return to Tokyo Comic Con in December 2025. This follows its successful debut at the 2024 event, underscoring the growing significance of pop culture collectibles in the international auction market.
Heritage Auctions (Headquarters: Texas, USA) will exhibit at “Tokyo Comic Convention 2025” (hereinafter, “Tokyo Comic Con 2025”) held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls 1-6 (Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) from Friday, December 5th to Sunday, December 7th, 2025. Following its successful debut at Tokyo Comic Con 2024, Heritage Auctions returns to Tokyo Comic Con 2025, which will feature appearances by a stellar lineup of 24 celebrities including Johnny Depp, Elijah Wood, Norman Reedus, Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci, and Tadanobu Asano. The booth will showcase an opulent and valuable collection centered on extremely rare items, ranging from Hollywood movie props to globally popular pop culture items like Pokémon cards.
At its booth (E-2), Heritage Auctions will display some of the most exceptionally rare items among the globally popular Pokémon cards. The lineup includes historically significant trading cards such as the “CGC9 Pikachu Illustrator,” considered the pinnacle of Pokémon card collections; the immensely popular “PSA10 Charizard 1st Edition Base Set”; and the “PSA9 No.1 Trainer” trophy card, the apex card distributed at the first large-scale official tournament. A photo spot will be set up for visitors to take pictures with these precious Pokémon cards during this unique opportunity to see the actual cards.
In addition to Pokémon cards, the display will include other notable collectible cards like the legendary “PSA10 Luke Skywalker” card from *Star Wars* and the iconic “CGC8 Black Lotus (Alpha)” representing *Magic: The Gathering*. Furthermore, weapons and props actually used in the filming of *The Walking Dead*, as well as popular auction items like video games, action figures, comics, and anime cels will be exhibited.
At the Heritage Auctions booth during Tokyo Comic Con 2025, experts in trading cards, video games, comics, manga, and cels will conduct free appraisals. Visitors can bring their items to the booth or present images (photos) of their items to receive an on-the-spot auction appraisal estimate. Experts and Japanese staff will provide attentive service. For those wishing to consign items for auction, on-site consignment procedures and acceptance of items will be available (no reservation required). Consultations are also welcome for collector’s items outside the pop culture field.
