The 44th India International Trade Fair is now open in Delhi, showcasing a diverse mix of traditional crafts, international brands, and innovative startups. This report highlights the event’s broad public appeal and vibrant opening atmosphere.

The 44th India International Trade Fair for this year has commenced in full swing at Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam. The vibrant atmosphere on the very first day proved that this fair is not just for businesspeople but also a major attraction for the general public. Traditional products from nearly every state in the country, the glittering participation of foreign companies, and the presence of new startups have made this event even more special. In the coming days, thousands of people will arrive here to witness new glimpses of shopping, culture, and technology.
On Friday, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasad, formally inaugurated the fair. As in previous years, this year’s fair also started on November 14th. The initial five days, from November 14th to 18th, are open exclusively to business guests and wholesale buyers. The fair will be open to the general public from November 19th to 27th.
This time, ticket prices have been set based on the days:
14-18 November (Business Days)
Adults: ₹150
Children: ₹60
19-27 November (For the Public)

Adults: ₹80
Children: ₹40
Senior citizens and persons with disabilities can enter without a ticket, just by showing a valid ID card.
This year, the fair’s theme is “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” (One India, Best India). Keeping this in mind, the entire Bharat Mandapam complex has been decorated to reflect cultural unity and the country’s diverse identity.
31 states and union territories, representatives from 12 countries, and 55 government ministries and departments are participating with their exhibitions. Many ministries are showcasing major ongoing schemes and technical projects in the country.
A major attraction of the fair is the Delhi government’s pavilion, inaugurated by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. It is based on the Red Fort theme and showcases Delhi’s historical identity, modern trade, and local art together.
