LVMH has announced the appointment of Laura Burdese as the new CEO of Bulgari, effective July 2026. This strategic leadership transition marks a significant step for the iconic Italian jewelry brand within the luxury conglomerate.

LVMH, the world’s leading luxury group, announced on Thursday, December 18, the appointment of Laura Burdese as CEO of the Italian jewelry brand Bulgari, effective July 1, 2026.
Laura Burdese, 54, who has been Deputy CEO since July 2024, succeeds Jean-Christophe Babin, who remains Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bulgari “while continuing to serve as CEO of Bulgari Hotels and President of the Bulgari Foundation,” according to a statement.
Laura Burdese will report to Stéphane Bianchi, Deputy CEO of LVMH and CEO of LVMH Watches and Jewelry.
Laura Burdese joined LVMH in 2016 as CEO of the Italian perfume brand Aqua di Parma before joining Bulgari in 2022 as Vice President of Marketing and Communication, then Deputy CEO. She previously worked at Beiersdorf, L’Oréal, and Swatch.
In the first nine months of 2025, the Watches and Jewelry division of LVMH (Bulgari, Tiffany, Tag Heuer, Chaumet…) recorded a 2% decline in revenue, to 7.4 billion euros.
