Zenith marked its 160th anniversary with a celebration at the Watches and Wonders Geneva fair, attended by global industry figures and brand ambassador Ryo ma Takeuchi.

Zenith, the Swiss luxury watchmaker and leader in chronographs (LVMH Watch & Jewelry Japan Co., Ltd.), held a stylish celebration on Wednesday, April 1, 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland, to commemorate its 160th anniversary. The event took place at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, the world’s largest annual watch fair, where industry professionals from around the globe gathered to toast the milestone. The brand was joined by its ambassador, Ryo ma Takeuchi.
Takeuchi commented, wearing the limited-edition [G.F.J.] model created for the anniversary. When asked about his role as a Zenith ambassador, he added:

At Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, Zenith unveiled four new timepieces commemorating its 160th anniversary. Each model is limited to 160 pieces worldwide and will be released sequentially throughout 2025.

This watch, limited to 160 pieces worldwide to celebrate Zenith’s 160th anniversary, is named after the initials of founder Georges Favre-Jacot. It revives and houses the iconic “Calibre 135” movement, which stands out even within the brand’s 160-year history. The slender and elegant 39mm platinum round case features a stepped bezel and curved lugs. It comes with three straps: a dark blue alligator leather strap, a black calf leather strap, and a blue “Saffiano” calf leather strap. The platinum pin buckle is engraved with the “G.F.J.” initials and a brick pattern.
