This article announces that pre-registration is now open for Jewelery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW), a key industry trade fair. The event will be held from September 15-19 at AsiaWorld-Expo, featuring dedicated sections for gemstones and diamonds.
September brings a very complete trade fair calendar, with Hong Kong as one of the stops for the new season. Jewelery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) announces that pre-registration for buyers is now open for the next edition of one of the most relevant trade fairs in our sector.
From September 15 to 19, AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) will host three joint fairs, each with a specific focus on precious materials: JGW for gemstones (Halls 3, 6, 8, and 10), JGW for diamonds (Halls 5, 7, 9, and 11), and JGW for pearls (Halls 1 and 2).
Furthermore, from September 17 to 21, three fairs dedicated to finished jewelry, packaging solutions, tools, and technologies related to the jewelry industry will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC): JGW: Hong Kong (Hall 1), JGW: International (Halls 3 and 5), and JGW: Fine Design (Grand Hall).
Additionally, the Autumn Fashion Jewelery & Accessories Fair will be held simultaneously with JGW from September 17 to 21 in HKCEC Halls 5BC. This fair is recognized as the premier autumn event for the fashion jewelry and accessories sector, where exclusive collections such as MODE by SEASONS II Autumn will be presented in collaboration with Informa and Tomorrow Aisle. These, in turn, are supported by the Pro-Act Training and Development Centre (Jewellery) and the Youth College of Hong Kong, along with the Taiwan Jewelry Institute, participating in SEASONS for the first time.
Facing market difficulties, the value of established relationships becomes essential, Lau added.
JGW will feature other must-see exhibitions for its visitors, such as the Gold Jewelry Pavilion, a space with over 40 exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Malaysia, and is the premier destination to discover innovative trends and technological advancements in gold jewelry manufacturing. A highlight is the World Gold Council (WGC) Pavilion, making its debut at JGW.
Also featured is “Sublime Brilliance: Metal Innovations in the Art of Jewelry”, a special exhibition dedicated to gold, platinum, silver, and other metals used in fine jewelry manufacturing. With the soaring price of gold, the launch of Sublime Brilliance is particularly timely. The exhibition highlights diverse metal applications and illustrates how cutting-edge technologies allow jewelers to explore cost-effective production alternatives while maintaining a competitive market position.
Furthermore, this edition will also include other key events such as the ASEAN Gem & Jewellery Trade Association (AGJA) Conference, the first of its kind in Hong Kong.
This event represents a collaboration between two of Asia’s most influential industry organizations: the Hong Kong Jewelry & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA), which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, and the AGJA, a trade group created by the ASEAN jewelry community.
