This dispatch highlights Mexico’s growing presence in the global luxury market, as a delegation of nine jewelers prepares for the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show. Their participation underscores the strategic importance of Asian markets and the international appeal of Mexican craftsmanship.
With the backing of the Jalisco Jewelry Chamber, nine Mexican gold and silver jewelry companies will travel to Hong Kong to represent Mexico for the third time at the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.
From March 4 to 8, seven firms from Jalisco and two from Guerrero will make up the Mexico Pavilion at the world’s most relevant jewelry fair. With an expectation of 20% growth in exports and business, the companies will hold meetings with wholesale buyers from India, Portugal, the United States, South Korea, Russia, and Australia, among other strategic markets.
It is worth mentioning that Mexico debuted at this Asian fair in 2019 with companies from Jalisco, marking a historic milestone for the Mexican jewelry sector.
Data from the Jalisco Jewelry Chamber reveals that in the last year, national jewelry exports gained ground in markets such as Chile, Spain, and the United States, consolidating the global expansion of the Mexican industry.
