Land in Hyderabad has once again been sold at record prices. In an auction organized by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), plots in the Neopolis Layout, Kokapet, were sold at record rates. In the auction held on November 22, one acre of land was sold for Rs 137.25 crore, generating substantial revenue for HMDA.
Two plots of land in Raidurgam, Hyderabad Knowledge City, were auctioned on November 22. The government earned Rs 1,355.33 crore in revenue from these two plots, making it one of the largest auctions in Hyderabad’s history.
The real estate sector in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, is flourishing day by day. Recently, one acre of land in Raidurgam Knowledge City was sold for Rs 137.25 crore. This land is located in Kokapet, on the outskirts of Raidurgam. The auction was organized by HMDA on November 22. HMDA auctioned land in Survey Numbers 17 and 18 in the Neopolis area of Kokapet. In this auction, land in Survey Number 17 was sold at Rs 137.25 crore per acre. In the previous auction held here, one acre of land was sold for Rs 100 crore.
The officials conducting the auction for land in Survey Numbers 17 and 18 had set a minimum price of Rs 99 crore per acre, but the maximum price reached Rs 137.25 crore. Plot number 17 has 4.59 acres and plot number 18 has 5.31 acres of land. Among these, MSN Urban Ventures LLP purchased the 5.31-acre Plot 18, located by the lake, at a rate of ₹137.25 crore per acre, while Vajra Housing Projects LLP purchased the 4.59-acre Plot 17 at a rate of ₹136.50 crore per acre.
Overall, HMDA earned revenue of Rs 1,355.33 crore from the auction of 9.90 acres of land. This auction is considered the highest bid ever in the Hyderabad real estate market. Due to increasing demand and infrastructure development, Hyderabad’s property market is expected to reach even greater heights in the coming months.
This land auction indicates that Hyderabad is currently emerging as a major investment hub in the country. The city is rapidly becoming a center for business and technology. These plots in Raidurgam are part of the Hyderabad Knowledge City project.
