Onward Holdings has announced a definitive agreement to acquire all shares of Cosme de Bote for 4.5 billion yen, aiming to complete the transaction and establish it as a wholly-owned subsidiary by March 2026.

Onward Holdings (Onward HD) has resolved to acquire all shares of Cosme de Bote and make it a wholly-owned subsidiary. The acquisition amount is 4.5 billion yen, including net cash. The share transfer is scheduled to be executed in March 2026.

Cosme de Bote operates nail-related businesses, including the “Gel Me1” gel nail brand. This acquisition is part of Onward HD’s mid-to-long-term management plan “ONWARD VISION 2030,” specifically under the goal of “accelerating growth in the ‘wellness domain’ aligned with new consumer values.” By making Cosme de Bote a wholly-owned subsidiary, Onward HD aims to pursue synergies with its existing businesses and drive the further growth of the acquired company.
