Editor’s Note
With the end of the Midora Leipzig trade fair, a new event—AURELIA—is set to launch in September 2025, focusing on watches and jewelry. Designed for trade professionals, it promises curated exhibits, networking opportunities, and business-friendly terms.

Following the discontinuation of the Midora Leipzig, a new watch and jewelry trade fair, AURELIA, is stepping onto the scene, directly addressing the core needs of the specialist trade: clear product assortments, personal contacts, and favorable conditions. The premiere will take place on September 6 and 7, 2025, in Leipzig-Schkeuditz, featuring around 60 exhibitors and a clear economic focus.
After MIDORA was held for the last time in 2024, it became clear: the industry will continue to need a professional meeting point in the heart of Germany. The team at Misztl GmbH responded promptly and brought the new trade visitor fair, AURELIA, to life. The name is the program: “The Shining One” is intended not only to provide new impulses but also to further strengthen the Leipzig exhibition center as a traditional location for the watch and jewelry specialist trade.

AURELIA follows the trade fair principle of the successful NORDLICHT fair in Rostock: manageable costs for exhibitors, free admission for trade visitors, free parking, and catering. A low-threshold access that focuses on dialogue and sustainable business initiation. Organizationally, AURELIA is also clearly positioned: scheduled for early September, it serves the specialist trade as a reliable date for assortment planning before the year-end business.

For the premiere of AURELIA, nearly 60 exhibitors have already registered, including well-known brands and suppliers from the fields of watches, jewelry, wedding rings, specialist technology, and accessories. This diversity makes AURELIA an efficient marketplace for all those seeking assortment expansion, supplier changes, or seasonal impulses.
AURELIA sees itself not as a short-term compensation for the loss of MIDORA, but as a long-term impulse provider. Visitors who previously attended MIDORA will continue to benefit: In collaboration with the concurrently held CADEAUX Leipzig, transitional arrangements have been made, such as free admission options and mutual visitor promotion. In addition to visiting AURELIA, retailers can thus also continue to benefit from the assortment diversity of CADEAUX (Living & Lifestyle), a strong sign for a future-proof trade fair structure in Central Germany.
