This article explores how Queen Camilla’s well-known love for dogs extends into her personal style, specifically through her choice of jewelry. It highlights a recent public appearance featuring a notably expensive accessory that reflects this affection.

Queen Camilla’s affection for dogs is also reflected in her choice of jewelry – and it can certainly be a bit more expensive.

On Monday (July 14), Queen Camilla (77), in her role as patron of the charity Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, opened a new “dog garden.” For the occasion, the wife of King Charles III (76) appeared in a blue dress by Anna Valentine – one accessory stood out particularly.
On the collar of her dress, the 77-year-old wore a dog-shaped brooch. What at first glance appears to be a playful accessory reveals itself upon closer inspection to be a genuine luxury item: The brooch is from the “Lucky Animals” collection by Van Cleef & Arpels.
A look at the French luxury jeweler’s website reveals the price: Currently, the piece of jewelry is available for 7,650 euros. The brooch is crafted from 18-karat gold, mother-of-pearl, and gemstones, framed by a delicate pearl border – a noble eye-catcher!

Queen Camilla is not only the patron of the animal welfare organization, she is also a dog lover herself with a recent animal addition to the family: In 2012, she adopted the Jack Russell Terrier Bluebell from that very institution. Previously, she had already adopted Beth, also a Jack Russell, whom she took in from the same animal shelter in 2011. The female dog died in November 2024 from an incurable tumor.
Recently, a new four-legged friend has enriched the Queen’s life:
