This article highlights the launch of the FORE School of Jewellery Design, a new initiative aiming to bridge traditional craftsmanship with modern digital manufacturing techniques.

NEW DELHI: The Foundation for Organisational Research and Education (FORE) has launched the FORE School of Jewellery Design (FSJD) which aims to equip aspiring jewellery professionals with a blend of traditional skills and modern digital techniques in design and manufacturing.
The school has been launched in partnership with the Design Academy of India (DAI) and will offer a six-month Jewellery Design and Digital Manufacturing (JDDM) course that combines technical skill-building with business acumen.
The JDDM programme will cover areas like CAD/CAM design using Matrix Gold software, 3D printing, gemstone and diamond handling, manual sketching, and jewellery photography. Students will also receive training in branding, marketing, and entrepreneurship, along with internships, monthly industry visits, and masterclasses by experts.
