The land of Panna has once again made a woman a lakhpati overnight from its treasure. People in Panna have an addiction, passion, and to some extent, a madness for finding diamonds. Here, people work hard day and night to find diamonds. Only then do they sometimes find a diamond. The gem-bearing land of Panna once again yielded a diamond on Monday, which changed the fortune of a woman named Savitri Bai Sisodia.
Diamond expert Anupam Singh said:
It is noted that Savitri Bai Sisodia, a resident of Devendranagar tehsil in Panna district, had taken a land lease from the diamond office and dug the mine from which the diamond was extracted.
Currently, only two revenue areas for shallow diamond mines are operational in the district. The first area is located in Gram Patti Bajaria, about 15 kilometers from Panna district. The fortunes of many laborers and farmers have also changed at this diamond mine, and they have found diamonds. The second diamond mine is located in Gram Sakariya, known as the Chopra shallow diamond mine, which is about 20 kilometers from Panna town.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel had inspected the Chopra shallow diamond mine. Detailed information was provided by Mineral (Diamond) Officer Ravi Patel. The officer gave the Governor complete information about how people extract diamonds from the mine. On Monday, a woman found a 2.69-carat diamond in this same diamond mine, whose value is estimated to be in lakhs.
About 20 diamonds, weighing approximately 47 carats, have been deposited at the Diamond Office in Panna in the new session. These will be put up for sale in the upcoming auction. The date for the diamond auction this session will be decided soon. After that, a three-day auction will commence, where diamond traders from various cities across the country will come to Panna and participate in the diamond auction, buying diamonds by bidding the highest prices.
