Free Appraisal Day in Saumur

Enora Alix, an auctioneer and expert who has been on the TV show “Affaire Conclue” for 7 years, will be in Saumur this Saturday, March 1, 2026. She is organizing a day of free appraisals at the Mercure hotel.

This day will be an opportunity for anyone interested to meet her and have any art or collectible item appraised.

“Not everyone dares to contact an Auctioneer; this day will be a chance to meet me. My greatest strength is listening. I am available, I have time to discuss, explain the auction process, and appraise the items presented to me. For every appraisal I do, I always explain the reasons and the market trends. It’s like on the show ‘Affaire Conclue,’ which is why I was selected to participate,”

she says. All her appraisals are free and confidential, by appointment. Jewelry, watches, silverware, coins, drawings, paintings, furniture, Asian art, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, sculptures, ceramics, books, stamps, toys… can be appraised for free.

“Everything can be appraised, but my favorite specialties are jewelry, precious stones, and collectible coins,”

says Enora Alix.

“Currently, certain specialties are highly sought after by collectors and can fetch record prices at public auctions. Many buyers are willing to pay top dollar to acquire diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, or fine pearls… as evidenced by our latest sales results. Chinese collectors are now very present. They are avidly focused on Asian art: jades, corals, porcelains, paintings are in high demand. They wish to rebuild their cultural heritage with significant financial means. Other themes, such as bronzes, signed paintings, silverware, and philately, also benefit from a favorable market,”

she details. She will also be accompanied by Daniel Berrous, an expert in postage stamps, old mail, and postcards.
