Lotte Department Store’s main location has significantly bolstered its luxury offerings with the addition of Van Cleef & Arpels and Graff boutiques. This strategic move consolidates its position as a premier destination for high jewelry in northern Seoul, directly catering to a discerning clientele.
Lotte Department Store (CEO Jeong Jun-ho) opened Van Cleef & Arpels and Graff boutiques on the first floor of its main store on the 21st.
By strengthening its lineup of major high jewelry brands, following the existing presence of Cartier, Tiffany, and Bulgari, the retailer is now actively targeting high jewelry customers in the Gangbuk (northern Seoul) area.
Van Cleef & Arpels, founded in France in 1906, is a leading high jewelry brand boasting over a century of history and tradition. The newly opened main store boutique is Van Cleef & Arpels’ first new boutique this year, embodying the maison’s timeless, poetic beauty and craftsmanship.
The boutique offers the brand’s representative collections, from classic high jewelry to Poetic Complications watches and the Lucky Spring collection.
The British high-end jewelry brand ‘Graff’ is also being introduced. Graff is a brand specializing in globally rare and valuable diamonds, famous for being the only one to manage the entire process in-house, from rough stone sourcing to cutting, polishing, and sales.
The Lotte Department Store main store Graff salon features an elegant interior with a pearl-flowing wall design and furniture made from uniquely textured ‘bouclé’ fabric, creating a luxurious and warm atmosphere. Notably, it includes a separate room where customers can view Graff’s most special high jewelry pieces, offering a differentiated experience.
Coinciding with the openings, the main store is hosting a ‘High Jewelry Fair’ until April 6th. Nineteen brands, including Cartier, Bulgari, and Tiffany, are participating, showcasing high jewelry worth approximately 38 billion won, including limited-edition collections.
Lotte Department Store first held a High Jewelry Fair at its Jamsil store last year, receiving a strong positive response from customers. The company plans to make such events regular, aiming to establish Lotte Department Store as a destination for high jewelry.
