Thirty young jewelry industry CEOs and practitioners will participate in the ‘K-Jewelry AI Practical Innovation Education’.
The University of Seoul (President Won Yong-geol) and the Jongno-gu Office are conducting the ‘K-Jewelry AI Practical Innovation Education’ at the Future Emotion Education Center from the 16th for two months to enhance the competitiveness of the jewelry sector, a specialized industry in Jongno-gu.
This program was planned within the industry-academia-research cooperation framework supported by the Seoul RISE (Regional Innovation System & Education) project. It aims to strengthen the digital transformation (DX) and innovation capabilities of the jewelry industry in the rapidly changing AI era.
Thirty young jewelry industry CEOs and practitioners, selected through a rigorous screening process, are participating in this course. Participants will intensively learn AI marketing strategies and practical skills that can be immediately applied to jewelry design and manufacturing sites. They are expected to grow into next-generation leaders who will pioneer high-value creation in the global competitive environment.
The curriculum consists of △AI-based consumer-customized marketing, △Image/video generation and design utilization, △Market trend prediction through big data analysis, △Smart manufacturing and automation support, and △Practical project-based training. Notably, the practice and case-centered curriculum enhances applicability in the field.

“The jewelry industry is a deep-rooted traditional industry in Jongno-gu and simultaneously a field with great potential for entering the global market,” said Professor Song O-seong (Director of the Emotional Industry ICC Center) at the University of Seoul. “Through this education, we hope young managers can lead the global jewelry market using cutting-edge technology as their weapon.”

The University of Seoul plans to continue contributing to fostering AI-convergence talent for the jewelry industry and enhancing regional industrial competitiveness as a hub for industry-academia-research cooperation in Seoul’s regional innovation industries.
