Singaporean luxury brand Aupen, known for its celebrity-favored handbags, is expanding into fine jewelry through a partnership with LVMH. The debut collection, launching this weekend, draws inspiration from founder Nicholas Tan’s unique background as a former champion swimmer and Harvard graduate.

Singapore luxury bag brand Aupen, whose products are used by celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, is set to introduce its first fine jewelry collection on Saturday in partnership with French fashion giant LVMH.
The gold and diamond pieces are designed to reflect life experiences of Aupen founder Nicholas Tan, an ex-Southeast Asian Games swimming gold medalist and a Harvard alumnus.
The partnership was established with LVMH Metiers d’Art, an initiative under the LVMH conglomerate.
Launching exclusively on Aupen’s website, the jewelry will arrive alongside reissues of select archival bags. Among them is the Joy bag, lately spotted on American actress and singer Selena Gomez.
Aupen, launched in November 2022, distributes leather bags with asymmetrical designs that “celebrate the beauty of life’s imperfections,” according to its website. The brand focuses on minimalist, authentic designs, showcasing advanced craftsmanship.
American billionaire singer Taylor Swift was seen carrying an Aupen Nirvana bag in August 2023. Other celebrities who have also been spotted with Aupen products include Emily Blunt, Jennifer Aniston, and Ana Taylor-Joy.
