Unique Diamond Crafted in Surat

A company in Surat, Gujarat, famously known as the Diamond City, has created a unique diamond shaped like the face of former US President Donald Trump. Greenlab Diamonds, a company that manufactures diamonds in a lab, crafted this piece from a 4.7-carat diamond. The company states that it took three months to prepare, cut, and polish this diamond. The diamond was created using the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method. Previously, this company had created a 7.5-carat diamond that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted to Jill Biden, the wife of then-President Joe Biden, during his visit to the United States.

Company’s Statement on the Masterpiece

Samit Patel, Director of the company, said that this 4.7-carat masterpiece diamond symbolizes their respect for American leadership and their deep ties with the US market. Miraj Patel, Chief Sales Officer of Green Labs, stated that this diamond represents the strong relationship between the USA and India.

“We have created a 4.7-carat diamond in the shape of the face of the US President. We are planning to gift this diamond to the White House. It is priceless because there is no other diamond like this in the entire country, so it is not right to put a price on it.”
Previous Gift to Jill Biden

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the United States in June 2023. During this visit, he gifted a 7.5-carat diamond to the wife of then-US President Joe Biden. According to the US Department of State, this was the most expensive gift received by any member of the President’s family in 2023. Its value was estimated at $20,000, approximately 1.7 million Indian Rupees. This diamond is kept in the East Wing of the White House. This diamond was also created by Greenlab Diamonds.
