Cartier to Open Large Store in Ginza on Former GAP Site

Cartier is set to open a large store in Tokyo’s Ginza district. The location is the lower floors of the HULIC Ginza Sukiyabashi Building at the intersection of Harumi-dori and Namiki-dori in Ginza 4-chome, which until July 2023 housed the GAP flagship store (4 floors, sales area of 1,445 square meters).

“We cannot answer at this time,”

said Richemont Japan, which operates Cartier, regarding the opening date and details. However, the “CARTIER” sign has already been installed on the facade of the building, which is currently undergoing renovation.

Cartier currently operates three stores in Ginza: its main store in Ginza 2-chome, the Namiki-dori store, and a boutique inside Ginza Six.
