Francesca Villa’s upcoming trunk show at SHIHARA LAB offers a rare opportunity to explore the Italian brand’s exquisite craftsmanship, with a special focus on its custom pet jewelry—a unique blend of luxury and personal tribute.
The Italian fine jewelry brand Francesca Villa will hold a trunk show at the jewelry store “SHIHARA LAB,” curated by SHIHARA, from Friday, November 21 to Monday, November 24, 2025.
The event will showcase new and diverse collections, along with a unique custom order service. This popular service transforms photos of beloved pets like dogs and cats into one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Designer Francesca personally sketches each design based on the photographs.
Francesca will be in-store all day from Friday, November 21 to Sunday, November 23, and by appointment on the final day, Monday, November 24, for direct consultation on orders.
The custom jewelry is made using a technique called “Essex Crystal,” which originated in 19th-century England. This complex process involves engraving the design onto the back of a cabochon rock crystal and meticulously coloring it with enamel, a task that skilled artisans spend several weeks completing. Each piece is unique, combining charm with the presence of an art piece.
This time, simpler models without side stones, as well as designs featuring stripes or dots as backgrounds, will also be available. For customers unable to visit the store, remote orders involving the designer are also accommodated.
